HeavyLift FL (also written Heavy Lift Florida; "we," "us") is a sole proprietorship that coordinates on-demand moving and heavy-lifting help in Southwest Florida by connecting customers with independent workers. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, including for our SMS text messaging program.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name and mobile phone number.
- Job details you share to get a quote: location, date, and what needs moving.
- Message content you send to or receive from us by text.
How we use it
We use your information solely to respond to your request, provide quotes, schedule and coordinate your job, send booking confirmations and appointment reminders, and provide customer support. Workers who opt in receive job offers and scheduling messages.
SMS text messaging and your mobile number
HeavyLift FL sends text messages only to people who opt in through one of these methods: (1) checking the optional consent box on the quote request form at heavyliftfl.com; (2) checking the optional consent box on the worker application form at heavyliftfl.com/work.html; (3) texting the keyword QUOTE to (239) 350-1810 (customers), which triggers a confirmation text; or (4) texting the keyword WORK to (888) 974-0844 (workers). Customers receive quotes, deposit instructions, booking confirmations, crew details, appointment reminders, and replies to their questions on the (239) 350-1810 line. Workers who opt in receive job offers and scheduling messages on the (888) 974-0844 line.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for the SMS program is used only to operate that program. Message frequency varies based on your activity with us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of any purchase or of applying to work; if you do not opt in, we will contact you by phone instead.
Data sharing
To perform a job you book, we share only the details needed to complete it (such as the service address and your first name and contact number) with the independent worker assigned to your job. We do not otherwise disclose your information except as required by law.
Retention and security
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal or record-keeping obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.
Your choices
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To ask what information we hold or to request deletion, customers text (239) 350-1810 and workers text (888) 974-0844.
