This is not a copy of our Sarasota & Bradenton page. Ringling, Siesta, Lakewood Ranch, and downtown Sarasota live there. This page is Venice Island, Venice Avenue parking, South Venice ranch houses, Nokomis Beach Road, and Laurel. We still send labor only: you provide the rental truck, pickup, or dumpster. We do not run a Venice moving-van fleet.
Customer price stays $35/hr per worker for the first two hours, then $30/hr, two-hour minimum. Same-day is possible when someone is already in south Sarasota County; next-day is the honest default. How Venice / Nokomis jobs tend to look
Venice Island and the downtown grid are short-term parking, alley carries, and HOA lot rules on a peninsula with two bridges. South Venice (34293) is more often garage-to-dumpster and Jacaranda Boulevard ranch houses. Nokomis (34275) sits between the Tamiami Trail and the beach road: storage-unit days, older Florida houses, and a U-Haul that has to fit a narrower lot than a branded 26-foot company truck would like — another reason the customer should own the rental.
Laurel is quoted here when the address is south of Osprey. North Port and Wellen Park are still quote-by-text: we take them when the drive and the crew line up, not as a guaranteed same-day zone. What we will not sell you here
No included truck. No long-distance dispatch to Tampa as a “Venice mover.” No packing service. No fake star ratings in markup. Barrier-island and island-of-Venice parking is why you control the rental. We send the crew to fill it. Tell us truck size and the parking plan when you text.
Pricing
$35 per worker per hour for the first two hours, $30/hr after, two-hour minimum. Travel from Lee County is built into whether we accept the slot, not into a surprise fuel line on a moving-company invoice. Deposit by Venmo or Zelle; cash to the crew when the load is done. A two-worker U-Haul load on Venice Island is the most common ticket. South Venice dumpster days often want three.
